Just ordered volumes 1 through 22 of Shaman King kanzenban and hopefully in a few months from now I can order the rest.

I think out of all the anime I've seen and manga I've read, the Shaman King manga is the one that has captured my imagination the most. The characters are subperb, the plot is incredible, and it's just argh *jizz* ohoho~

Once I found out it would finally be getting a proper ending (lol@ princess!Hao) I was just all !@$*@#%*@%*@#$&@# I never finished reading the original manga, but the ending indeed was... laughable.

The kanzenban seems like a wet dream come true! And I've been wanting to find something to spend my tax return on... Also, I'm really glad to be getting a manga in Japanese so that it can assist me with the language. ^_^ Of course it's going to be quite difficult, but I think that after reading the whole series in Japanese, my skills will improve a little. (Just as I've been watching shaman king anime-- the voices are moe, but honestly, the anime is subpar. Erm, I was gonna say that I've picked up quite a bit more from the anime I've been watching lately.)

The 22 volumes aren't supposed to arrive here until the beginning of May. Happy 20th birthday present, anyone?

Well, I'm happy. This kanzenban series is definitely going to be a treasured item of mine. /nerdgasm
